Sussex Area AGM 2009
The AGM is being hosted by Beachy Head Group at East Dean (nr Eastbourne) Village Hall at 2.30 pm on Saturday 17th January 2009. The guest speaker is Keith Roberts, the Campaigns Manager from RA Central Office. The meeting will be preceeded by a walk starting at 10.00 am from East Dean Car Park which will finish at approx. 12.30 pm. The Village Hall will be available for members to eat their picnic lunches but there are also local hostelries that provide food.
One of the items on the Agenda for the AGM in January is the adoption of the new Constitution. The old and new versions of the constituion can be downloaded from the links given below:

About Sussex Area
The Sussex Area of the Ramblers' Association was formed in 1976. Membership has grown to around 4400, with 10 local groups throughout Sussex, and one county-wide Young Walkers' group.
We are working on behalf of all walkers to:
- protrect the network of public paths;
- safeguard the beauty of Britain's countryside;
- campaign for greater access to open country;
- provide information and advice on all aspects of walking.
